Rejoice...Rejoice

Kim accepted Jesus as lord...Yay!
One more I will see in Heaven!!!
Prayer:
I pray God sends the right discipleship people into Kim's life to uplift her in prayer, teach and aid in her growth in Christ. I trust in You to mark Kim's footsteps with your blessings so she shall not fall, but reach victory.
~Amen~

Small Impact

Saturday the 3rd, I made a small impact in someones life.
I was working the 2-11pm shift at Wal-Mart, and it came time to go to lunch. A co-worker, Mrs. M, came back to lawn and garden to relieve me for lunch, and she noticed all the Christmas items placed all around.
Mrs. M, commented as she walked up to the register, "Well look at all these Christmas decorations; it is just a bad reminder of how I will not enjoy the holidays, I am broke".
I said, "Just because you don't have money, doesn't mean you cannot enjoy the holidays."
*I paused to wait for a response. Hmm, what could it be?*
*Mrs. M is in deep thought*
Finally, Mrs. M looks at me and said, "You know what? You are right! I don't need money to enjoy the holidays because the reason for the season is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ."
I said, "Yes, you took the words right out of my mouth!"
Mrs. M's facial expression made a total transformation from a frown to a smile.
It is amazing what a few words can do for someone at the right timing. I was amazed by her response, and I pray God will use my words to cheer her holiday.

Interview Update

To make a long story short; the job search is continued.

Where there is rejection, there is hope.

No, I am not upset because God has a plan for me. He will reveal it when the time is right. I stand alert in anticipation for new opportunities to come my way, and it may or may not be in the medical field. We will see!
